REV. BILL MINSON

The man behind the ministry

Forty two years ago, working as the first Black agent for super agency ICM, representing KC & the Sunshine Band, Natilie Cole, Steve McQueen, Al Green, Raquel Welch, the Ohio Players, Engelbert Humperdinck, The Fifth Dimension, Staples Singers, Margaux Hemingway, Dick Gregory and more wasn't enough. Bill Minson was confronted with a call to minister and very reluctantantly began study for ordination to enter the Gospel ministry.

 

Currently a chaplain for Las Vegas Fire and Rescue, Minson recently met with Members of Congress supporting reclassification for 911 Dispatchers throughout America. Additionally, with guidance from LVFR's Angela Leath and Nevada Suicide prevention trainer Richard Egan, is currently working with Congressmen Jerrold Nadler and Peter King to sponsor legislation addressing Mental Health Issues including Suicide. The nationwide stop whispering campaign addresses actions destroying lives and devastating First Responders and their families.

He continues his work with 911 families, 18 years this September, joined Oklahoma City for their 24th year, attended Columbine's 20th and visited Responders connected to the Capitol Gazette shooting in Maryland recently. Parkland/Coral Springs and Ventura County, Ca families, Dispatchers and First Responders are part of his healing  outreach. He expects to visit Virginia Beach, El Paso and Dayton to encourage and pray for families and First Responders. During Oklahoma City ceremonies in April Reverend Minson was asked to serve as chaplain for the Las Vegas office of the US Secret Service.

At 16 years old, Minson was interviewed on The Tonight Show by Johnny Carson. He appeared in Ed Sullivan's "Right Here On Our Stage Tonight", Robert Guillaume's biography, "Guillaume A Life", Margaux Hemingway in, "The Last Days of Dead Celebrities" and "Midnight Train to Georgia: A Pips Journey", written by Minson's longtime friend William Guest.

As Executive Director of the Congressional Entertainment Caucus for Congresswoman, Diane Watson, Minson made presentations to Halle Berry and Barbara Walters when they received their Stars on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

Honoring his oath to GOD, prior to his ordination, Bill Minson has never sent out a donation envelope, passed a collection plate or posted a GoFundMe. GOD has supplied the resources for TUDAY'S MINISTRIES work as promised through scripture.

Celebrates 40 Years
with programs to battle increased suicides and heal trauma, as well as programs that educate and inspire today's youth and their families.
 


On September 2, 2019 Reverend BIll Minson celebrates 40 years of TUDAY MINISTRIES with the launch of MGM's release of THE PARKER PRINCIPLES with his co author and world renowned producer, performer and guitarist Ray Parker Jr. of Ghostbuster fame.

TUDAY MINISTRIES began in Baltimore, MD in 1979 where Reverend Minson served as consultant to Superintendent of Baltimore City schools presenting programs to inspire, inform and motivate students,  parents and educators. Oprah Winfrey, Nick Ashford, Valerie Simpson, Ray Parker Jr., doctors, judges and others spoke to students in TUDAY'S Alliance For Success programs. He received a Commendation from President Ronald Reagan in 1980 for his work and became a consultant to Los Angeles and New York school superintendents presenting his programs. Minson's work with grieving families began in 1980 when he befriended Camille Bell and became a counselor and spokesperson for Atlanta Mothers
